1. Identify fog in satellite images and estimate its time of dissipations.

1. Knowledge of different fog types and fog formation.
2. Knowledge of cloud types and regions of maritime stratus regions.
3. Ability to interpret visible, infrared and water vapor imagery from geostationary satellite.
