1. Identify terms in the radiative transfer equation for visible, infrared and microwave.
2. Apply RTE to interpret satellite image
3. transfers knowledge and principles of radiative transfer to satellite imagery

Prerequisite

1. Know the meaning of radiance
2. Understand the basics of radiative transfer in the infrared and solar wavelengths
3. Know the interpretation of "Brightness Temperature"
