SURFACE MAP ASSIGNMENT

There are links to two surface weather maps on this page. Your object is to use the 29 January surface map to give a description of what the weather is like in Western Iowa for the 29 January and to use the 19 January surface map to give a description of what the weather is like in Georgia for the 19 January. With the big picture, or synoptic picture, in mind, what type of weather would you be concerned about if you were planning to fly one hour after the time of these weather maps?

Email me the answers to these questions Please enter "LESSON 3 SFC MAPS" as the subject.
