Introduction to Weather and Climate

Homework

Remember, homeworks must be turned in on time - no excuses!

Homework: Due Tuesday, October 12

Materials:One bowl with opaque sides, a penny and some water.
Assignment:
Place the penny on the bottom of the bowl, about half way between
the center and one of the sides. Slowly lower your head until the penny is blocked from
your view by the sides of the bowl. Now slowly add water. Do it carefully so the
penny doesn't move (you might want to tape the penny down).
Tell me what your did, what you observed and explain what you observed.
